These videos are AWESOME! STOP DOUBTING YOUR PIECES! THEY'RE REALLY GOOD!

LOVE:
Very good explanation of the process and line up of the voiceover with certain pictures
SUGGESTIONS
1. STOP THE KENS BURNS
2. SERIOUSLY STOP THE KEN BURNS. Slow down the movement of the pictures
3. Weed out unnecessary pictures so that you can slow down the movement and so that the viewer has the ability to focus.

The music perfectly compliments the mood that you are discussing. You talk about how the fountains creates a soothing feeling.
SUGGESTIONS
1. make the sound track quieter.
2. You say that moving water is … for the human senses. But the picture is one of the few non moving pictures
3. The images are all the same. Are there any other fountains other than the Carnegie Museum of Art one and the one in front of frick?
Colleen
LOVE
Incorporation of varying types of pictures. Pictures of silver eye. Art photos. Ect. The intro was great and develops a story!!!! Awesome job
SUGGESTIONS
1. Make the soundtrack quieter and your voice louder!
2. Figure out something to do with the vertical pictures. Add a border or something on photoshop so that the screen shot is actually horizontal but the picture your focusing on is horizontal. I don’t know. If your confused please let me know.
3. Slow down the ken burns

Great way of showing the process. This is something no one really thinks about and you do a great job with the documentary aspect of it.
SUGGESTIONS
1. completely delete the sound on the video so that the voice over is the only sound.
2. Maybe use text saying “King kong” or the different advertising choices to add another visual aspect. You can use cool fonts and ect to do this to reflect the advertising on the bus.
3. I think the title page and introduction into the subject could be a little slower

You have done an awesome job researching
SUGGESTION
1. I don’t know if you can fix this but the most commonly used techniques for essays and the like is the use of a definition to introduce your subject. In the future, consider not using this. Everyone does it, no worries. It’s just something I learned.
2. Music or something to separate all of the talking
3. Maybe try matching up the pictures to what your talking about

LOVE
The personal incorporation of your friend and the personal connection to the tattoo artist on the southside. That’s
SUGGESTIONS
1. Too much time spent on the background. Assume people know about tattoos if they are watching your video
2. Don’t forget that this is supposed to be exposing this as an art form, not the history. If this video could have been longer it would have been awesome to include all of this
3. Do some transition from the history to the Pittsburgh one. This isn’t referring to your other transition.

The question answer technique works out very well for you.
SUGGESTIONS
1. your pictures are a little over exposed. This can be fixed either in photoshop or the video editing software
2. find some way to bring your viewers focus to the part of the picture that you want them to see since chalk is really hard to see.
3. Personally, I think that the font you use decreases the seriousness of the video. But that might just be because I’m a font addict.

I like the visual depiction of what people were feeling and the visual translation of the music into the visualizer. That’s art!
SUGGESTIONS
1. increase the volume of the voiceover
2. during the videos of the people you tested there’s plenty of space for some text or something to further prove your argument
3. find someway either through transitions or something to connect all of these pieces. The voiceover flows well now make the visuals flow like that! You’re very close.
4. Your still talking at the end while your credits are running. Are you saying that the conclusion isn’t important? See if there’s something you can edit out during the middle part. That’s your argument!

You did the voice over with the guy the best! His voice is nice and loud and the visuals are great! (You should take out the background music of the firework show though and add your own soundtrack)
SUGGESTIONS
1. Straighten the blueprint picture. You can do this in photoshop or any image editing software.
2. Your images are all very bright.
3. You should separate the sections [pre-cathedral, building, ect.]
